Donald: yes, it would :) You must have thought about that, but if you want bigger brakes, put ATR carrier and sell ATR caliper + NSX 282 mm carrier as usual direct swap, like Legend or Accord 3.0. So you have NSX caliper and 300 disc. And if you are afraid of big weight, but CTR 300x25 discs :) I did so :) So now I am thinking to leave rear 260 or to make a bracket and have 282 rear with the same oem calipers and DC5 rear discs (not confirmed, just had a quick check on catalogue).

Ummmmmm no! It's all dependant on my damn planning permission being granted. Just submitted for the 3rd time on Sunday  Good news is that she likes the amended plans for the garage ;-)

Questions. How long have you had this deathlist and how many have been on it that are no longer?

EDIT: And what the hell has Donald got to do with this?! It looks like he's speaking for me and I'm spooning him!

More Wire Tuck (Nearly There)

Post by NafemanNathan » Sat Jan 26, 2013 9:15 pm

Well what do you know? I spent a couple of hours on the lude today! :D

After all the snow we'd had and the lude not quite mobile enough to shake it off, there was a fair amount of condensation in the car, so I wanted to clear it. I didn't just clear to condensation though, I cleared this lot too...

There is now no trim left in the car :) ...

I'm practically there with the cables and fuseboxes now too. I think it was looking like this last time I showed you...

Image

Well with a bit I did a month or so ago and then with today's efforts, it's making a little bit more sense now...

Image

So I've just got to locate the engine bay fusebox somewhere, though as you can see in the picture below, there isn't much slack to play with, so I'm either going to have to locate it up with the other fusebox, up by the driver's seat (near the fuel-cap and boot pull), or just attach it to the underside of the dash somewhere when it goes back in. I had been hoping there was enough length to locate it on the centre console position up against the bulkhead, and it will reach, but the cables are pulled tight right across the pedals, so it just won't do. I don't want to be extending cables just yet either, but that might always be an option in the future with the loom from the Silver lude.

Image

Other than that though I've pretty much just got to connect the engine harness to the in car harness, which are these plugs here...

Image

And then in theory it's just a case of connecting the dash back up once I've lightened it and some minor removals from the rear looms :D

Still looks like there's a lot going on mind, and it's very red :? ...
