Bloody Hell. Sold mine for 1.8k last February, and thought that was good money. Perhaps I should've kept it another 12 months!!! Well done with the sale.

The interest I got was incredible. I couldn't believe it, even at that price. I think the reason could be the fact that everyone who showed an interest was sent the link to my journal which shows what had gone in to make the car what it is. The large file of paperwork/receipts helps too. Also mine was the only 3rd Gen on eBay at the time. Mint examples are worth whatever someone's willing to pay for them. I took a shot when pricing mine, worked out well if I
do say so myself. But then I would never have just 'given' it away. I loved that car & hope the new owner loves it as much as I did. I advertised on eBay, Gumtree & Facebook.
