Very true, but the sunroof itself doesn't leak, it's only when the sunroof is open that water gets in there. I know this because it was bone dry in there after leaving the car in the rain (sunroof shut) for a day. So it would only be if the car's on a slant in that corner and I've just had the sunroof open in the rain that it would get filled up, then all I have to do is start driving and it'll drain out, as the whole tray is sealed against the roof as well.

I'll just make sure I don't leave it tilting backwards for long periods of time after driving in the rain with the sunroof open.

Other than the rusty corner it was mint, literally looked brand new.

Enjoyed the read mate. You local, im in crawley so if you ever see a black 5th gen give us a horn :)

Really love the 3rd gen with its pop lights and you have done a great job mate. You need deep dish bbs on the rears thou lol but the wheels and broken suspension look of the car set it off perfectly. Whats it like on speed bumps.

My cars on eibachs and koni yellows, which has increased the height an inch (before it was slammed) which makes driving bit easier as i live on roads infected with nastly speed humps.

Cheers buddy :) the same goes to you!

It doesn't really do speedbumps haha, though the big ones are fine if you take them at an angle :) but the ride is actually really nice, better than my dad's stock AMG CLK anyway!

I know I was moaning about your tyres before but I do really like this Lude. Gets my vote all day long.

Just seen the interior and oh. Y that's some sexy stuff. Love the effort you put in adding the suede. Very nice. And I like the red carpets. Really pop in the car. Good combination white/black/red.
I'm not a massive fan of the BBS rims, but they do suit the slammed look on this car. Though I dread to think what it's like over bumps... I struggle in my 4th gen and she's not as low as your car.

Be great to see this at a meet in the future, I love a 3rd gen and this is a lovely example.

Thanks very much guys :D

Prahunt yeah I will defo try to get my arse along to some meets :)

You're right, it is hard to clear most speedbumps, but the front mudguards act as great feelers - they scrape before the chassis does :P hahaha.

The ride comfort is really surprisingly good though!
