Another Track 4th gen - Dyno results & Santa Pod runs

Post by Thebusofwoe » Mon Sep 26, 2016 10:26 pm

Hello again chaps. Been a while!! :D

So i finally got the weapon on the dyno and WOW  :o 213bhp at the flywheel and 170ft lbs torque. I was not expecting that thats for sure on a UK engine and stock ecu  :o  The dyno operator said that the AFR's are almost perfect with it only leaning towards the lean side on a few 100rpm stages but was pulling all the way to red line with a lovely torque curve. The main reason for the dyno was to check AFR's so am sooo happy that its healthy. 8-) :D :D

Then got the sunroof bung painted and riveted in. Also very happy with that. On then to Santa Pod for USC 2016. Met a couple of guys on here which was good (sorry cant remember who)

Got some runs in down the strip. Fastest being 14.1 seconds at 100mph which im very happy with. LSD was working very well on the starts along with the sticky NS2-R's. Had quite a few compliments also with it beating a lot of turbo stuff.

Anyway heres a few pics. Strip vids will be on Youtube soon.

Thanks chaps. 8-) :D :D

Great results Chris.

What mods are you running? Seems incredibly high if it's a stock UK lump and pushing 28bhp higher than it should. What dyno was it?

Thanks Nath.
ATR throttle body port matched. ATR camshafts, full 2.1/4 inch exhaust inc manifold, CDA air intake box with cold air feed ect ect. Light weight pulleys. Not running Balancer shafts. Cant remember the make of dyno but it was done down at Regal Autosport in Southampton. They are pretty reliable so ive been told. 8-) :D

But the AFR's go to prove that these run rich naturally. And what ive done is let it run true if you like. So its now at the limit of the amount of fuel it can get in for the given amount of air ive allowed for. So next would be a re map, just to smooth it all out. 8-)
