Near as I can tell:
The chap misinterpreted some posts and a couple of lovebirds started ganging up on him
I didn't appreciate his Orson Welles quote
He didn't like being outbid on eBay and basically accused someone on here of being suspect because it wasn't advertised here
Also he wanted to report some posts on here and expected the admins to jump to it, I'm guessing it didn't really pan out how he imagined and he's now disgruntled about it
We're all haters
People come and go @Mort, there are always those that don't get on. I've had a fair share of disagreements with people on and off of here and there are certainly people I don't care for that are a daily feature in my life. Part of being a functioning human being is dealing with things that don't align with your view, though I'm sure you know this Really there's no need to make a song and dance about leaving, if you don't want to be on the forum, well... I highly doubt anyone will care beyond a raised eyebrow. The last time someone made a leaving post in a huff they got laughed out. Or you could take things with a pinch of salt and accept there are a few members that aren't quite as cool as me and you'll just have to live with it. This really is the best and only Prelude forum that matters.
tl;dr Go quietly in case you decide to come back.

How to leave a forum:
Step 1: Locate "x" icon in top right of your browser, similar to this -
Step 2: Move mouse arrow to a position where it rests on said "x"
Step 3: Click left mouse button
Step 4: When using Internet Browser in the future, do not under any circumstances enter the web address of the forum.
It should be noted that Step 4 may be a a difficult process and we would recommend contacting a support group to assist in resisting temptation. Signing in as a guest or under a pseudonym will only end in tears before bedtime and you will regret your inability to let go. A support group may be able to appoint you a "leaving buddy", someone you can ring 24hrs a day/7days a week to talk to should you find it difficult to resist signing back in to read what has been said about you and to see if any one is actually missing you.
Under no circumstances must you make a post expressing your intentions of leaving the forum or make a public request to delete your account. This will be noted as an expression of insecurity and attention seeking and the relevant mocking will commence, thus making Step 4 impossible for you to commit to.
So in summary, if you are going to fuck off, then just fuck off, oh and don't forget to close the door on the way out.
