4th gen seats - what is this electrical connector?

Post by bb1boy » Thu Jul 03, 2014 12:06 pm

...not that I have a photo to hand, but all of the 4th gen's I have ever owned have had electrical plugs dangling out of the bottom of the front seats.. does anyone know what these are for? I have never found anything to attach that plug to..

That's what I thought, but did they really put heating elements and wires in ALL the seats, only to wire up a few?? Maybe I need to look under the carpet to see if the other end of the connector is there!

All looms generally have all connectors in (region specific) to make it simple plug and play when it came to additional extras. It's the Honda way ;)

photo would help but my money goes to seatbelt tensioners and warning light/sound. I have this in my car. Heated seats are rather rare (IIRC only canadian and sweedish? cars had this as a standard) so don't think so
