Did you check out the driver's seat by chance? Is there means for that to tilt and slide in one motion?

I checked and there wasn't one on the driver's side. I was in a bit of a rush so didn't spend long looking tbh but I'm sure it would be an easy enough job to retrofit a spring (if there isn't already the means to attach one). I can have a closer look in the morning before they go to their new owner.
I've no doubt you've figured it out but it's just a spring attached to the seat pan and a stationary point on the rail rather than a mechanism built into the tilty bit. Low tech jobby.
