A couple of general 4th gen interior questions.

Post by bb1boy » Wed Jun 19, 2013 2:18 pm

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me what the wires and electrical connectors under my 4th gen seats are for please? They are manually adjustable and not heated..

Also, when I turn the ignition off, the seatbelt kind of tugs at my shoulder briefly - anyone know why?

And finally, is there a "show us your interiors" thread here anywhere as I'd like to look at some other people's cars for inspiration. I have used the search function but to no avail.

Ta

The wiring is probably the seat belt warning gubbins.

Check out Pushki's interior in his thread, very nice. 8-)

The seat belt has a driver comfort system on jdm ludes. You put the seat belt on, and when the length of belt has been determined it relaxes it for comfort. My old jdm 3rd gen does it, and both front belts on my type s do it. I turn the ignition off and they snap back. Gets my Mrs every time. 8-)

the wires underseat as said are the light on the dash that you haven't put seatbelts on ;)
leave off as annoying beep sound to say put them on

the tug on seat belt is just the wind in starting :D but not enough to recoil the belt in all the way.

and i do have some pics of saffy's inside on my profile ;)
