Right so been driving the accord past few weeks and still no VTEC engagement car feels like it's in limp mode. Have been getting 2 CEL Codes which are code 5 and code 20

code 20 I know is the electric load detector and code 5 is for the map sensor. I have swapped map sensors even swapped the throttle body with the one on my 5th gen. Reset the Ecu numerous times swapped ecu's, tested voltage of the map sensor wiring the lot still can't get to the bottom of my problem

No adjusting locknuts on any of the valves, as I had the valves reground in and new oil seals put in by an engineering company they must never have torqued them. Causing me to get my problem, I have had a look in the head and can see some adjusting nuts beside the valves. I'm hoping there is no damage

:shock: I'm sure you'd know if any of them had managed to get into the cylinders, so fingers crossed it's no that bad, but there maybe some chewed up metal on the valve seating area if the nuts were on top :?
