Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
Yup that might work
I'm going to contact MesiterR to find out what I am doing wrong
I can get the fronts to go uber low, which looks
but when it comes to lowering the rear I cant get them to do the same as the fronts.

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
Well the Lude god Rich Voaden has confirmed what I thought. I'm going to have to chop a little off the rear forks to get the height set to what I want. There is a sleeve that connects the fork to the damper. Inside the sleeve is where the lowering happens but at the moment the sleeve is full of fork and damper. Like so:

Edit - Also MeisteR say that I should wind off all the preload on the rear springs as the springs are very stiff and to allow for droop. This should also lower it a touch.

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
The suspension is as sorted as it going to get for now. In the end we ran out of time to chop the rear forks so there is a little rake going on, but not much. At least everything is even between each side.
The front is quite low. The traction bar is the lowest part of the car now and is just less than 8cm off the ground so any form of individual of speed bump is a no-no
The car gets its wheel alignment on Friday and its power/weight session on Sunday.
