Cheers buddy! Its been fun, I've enjoyed the build as much as driving the thing :)

Well I haven't updated this in ages but I finally got my heater hooked up which has made the cockpit a much nicer place to be! I removed the K-Tuned thermostat and replaced it with the OEM unit and the car warms up much faster now and actually gets to operating temperature, its amazing how much of a difference this has made and hopefully will see a result with increased fuel economy.

I also took the car in to get a full 3" exhaust done inc CAT, centre & back box, I requested a full 3" system that is only slightly louder than my current stock exhaust, brilliant I thought and got it booked in! I picked it up today and unfortunately its the loudest exhaust ive ever heard in my life, it resonates at motorway speeds and vibrates the whole inside of the car, let alone that it also bounces against the underside of the car over slight bumps and the backbox isn't even level! :? What the hell do I do now!? I've researched into this and found they are speaking bull, nobody has yet built a quiet 3" exhaust.... Why this was not mentioned at all has really pissed me off. Will try and see if they can refit the original..

Surely you can go back and speak to them about this. At least get it to stop knocking and straighten the tail up

I was going to say "A quiet 3" exhaust?!". Oh dear. Surely though if you requested something and they didn't deliver you're well within your right to get our money back? Sounds like bad business otherwise.

Dam. I doubt the exhaust will fit any other prelude due to the k20 being the other way round.

Did the exhaust loose some boost on the charger?

Well this is it, the guy was like 'yea we can make one however you want', I let him hear my original exhaust and I requested it to be slightly louder (I cant hear my exhaust in the car what so ever under all circumstances), if they turned around and said we can't do that then I would have explored other avenues... Ah well, will find out tomorrow how it goes..

It would with an extension piece as the centre pipe that runs down the middle is in the same place, its just the k20 header ends further back up the tunnel.

If anything it would boost higher as the exhaust became a restriction at higher revs, you can now certainly feel the engine holding the torque further into the rev range. It was a little wet during testing and it was spinning in 3rd!!

Upon closer inspection the rear light glass is broken, its been pushed back which has bent the mounting points and pushed out the surrounding metalwork :(
