So have you had those components made up or are they bought? Such a nice fresh change from seeing welded mild steel parts :D
The alloy gearshift bracket was bought in, but i had to get the spacers made as the fuel rail and the engine mount didnt quite fit proprly.

I have sent off the drawings for the chain cover side engine mount so should hopefully have that one ready to bolt in next week, i'll then measure the drive shaft lengths required and can also work on finalising the other 3 engine mounts.
Proper job! :D

Hah, thanks for the comments guys! Wish it would only take another week till its finished!

I really wanted to use the K-Tuned ram horn header but the guys over at K-Tuned were reluctant to give me any basic dimensions to see whether it would fit or not, unfortunately it looks like I am now going to have to make my own header. Shame, as if it would have fitted I was going to stock them here for the swap kits! Whilst were on the subject of K-Tuned: DO NOT BUY their radiators, I bought one a while back from them for a reasonable sum of money, it turns this particular half size rad is the same as the chinese rads that are being sold on ebay for £70 and the quality is horrendous! They also shipped it internationally without any form of protection around the core what so ever, and as a result all the bits inside marked the core and crushed some of the fins.

I ordered up my wiring conversion harness today and had been finalising some engine mounts until I discovered the dimensions given on the Powerflex website for the engine mounts do not match what I have received, either they have changed the dimensions and not updated the website or mine have slipped passed QC... :?: I try not to buy anything from the states anymore as it seems half the companies have never heard of 'Customer Service', hopefully the guys at Rywire can restore my faith in US companies.. They have had some good reviews online so hopefully I am in good hands.

Anyway, back to the engine mount problem, so I've had the outer mount tubes made and some spacers, and depending on what Powerflex say i've either got to get the spacers remade or the mount tubes, then i've got all my engine mount designs to adjust accordingly.. bummer.. Lets hope they can give me a partial refund towards the modifications needed..

As you can see in the image the crush tube is 3mm too short, and is 2mm shorter than their drawing, the polyeuro bushes are also slightly different than their drawing.....??? :?

Haha, yea its a shame, felt like i've took two steps forward and one back.

I am eager to get this finished, as A. I am using my mates car til its finished, so he'll be pleased as soon as its back, and B. we're all off on a road trip to Nurburgring in september and then off up to Gatesbil, so by then I'll hopefully have this fully run in to iron out all the problems, a LSD installed and hopefully a charge cooler with smaller pulley to achieve 350bhp +

NEW shiney parts have arrived!

1. Powerflex were awesome to supply the correct centre bushes and also modified my spacers for me FOC. Thanks for sorting me out there guys!
2. My supercharger gaskets arrived and I was able to get the whole lot buttoned up and fitted to the engine.
3. The laser cutting for the engine mount arrived - should hopefully have this back from the mfr shortly!
4. Fuel system parts arrived.
5. Skunk2 gear shift knob (6 Speed).
6. Velocity Stack & Air Filter.
