Tbh, only a proper enthusiast will consider buying this at that price. My opinion is to keep it and enjoy it plus if you get a RWD you wouldn't take it to the limits like this fwd prelude unless you are a racing driver. Keep it dude.

My Type-S is coming off the road this week.

:(

I know your probably right, there's always that hope tho, sort of like buying a lottery ticket

The other option is to keep the lude as a practical car and get an rx7 as a play thing :D
PAW rebuilt 98 prelude 228bhp & 171lb/ft R.I.P.
PAW rebuilt 01 ATR 238bhp & 164lb/ft sold
Monte Carlo Blue 02 S2K :D

I could have bought a mint low mileage 500bhp R32 with the money to date I've spent on a lude that doesn't even roll and still needs multiples of thousands spending on it. But knowing I'd only get a slap in the face for it I'm happy to see it through to the end and be buried in it.

A Prelude's for life, not just for Christmas... Unless you're Marc Dino

I have just noticed that what ever modifications you do (such as cams, port and polish etc etc) will not add to the selling price at the end. Car will only be worth the value in stock form with other upgrades like stock lips etc. I mean you can spend thousand on upgrading and adding more BHP for £2000 but you won't get that money back at the end. (if that makes sense) Unless ofcourse you find the best buyer at the right time. 8-)

That's not really 100% true. The BMW I had as a courtesy car had more grip then my standard SiR Prelude. Maybe due to jobby tyres though.

nice dreams but 4k is not even getable for a mint low miles type s. I think you would get more if you sold the engine and then scrapped the car than try to sell it whole.

rwd sounds fun but its wintertime mate. also the rx7 will eat your pocket

mine is now wrapped up for i dont know how long. too much spent to sell but not what im looking for now (shrug)

*a practical car gives better than 25mpg combined ;)

@nitin: that you didnt get a rwd car to spin is not a suprise
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.
