Love it! Always have, always will. You (and Rich!) have brought her right up to scratch now!

Still can't believe your old silver ran the same time, with comparison of mods I'd think you'd be quicker on the strip in this??? That thing was a freak of nature though. I guess this one is still a little heavier in places.

You still planning to dump the ABS? Mine has started now, been a little busy and need to update my own thread. You keeping the PAS though?

Love it though, can't wait to see her at Japfest. 8)

Ahh the infamous race-ported head, currently sat on your shelf right? ;-) Marc's told me all about it  A bit more persuasion and he'll break Rich ;)

Well yeah there is that one, but he can have one of his own done too if he has a spare or I can supply a full ported head using one of my 6 or 7 stock heads as a base.
Currently got 2 A7 heads undergoing the full treatment before being shipped back to the Netherlands, this work is very time consuming as I'm sure you are aware so there always tends to be a little bit of a backlog.
TBH I've talked him into it and back out of it several times.... there are other more important areas to improve before the resorting to the head - some of these Marc is already addressing 8-)

Yup. I do want a head. One thing at a time though. So yup addressing other parts 1st.

Cheers for comments guys.

I can now progress with some of the work that was held up due to lack of a workbench.

However that got sorted when i built one yesterday. :-)

Rob, yup will be doing ABS but not just yet. I want plenty of photos when you are doing yours.
The old silver car was quick but the terminal speed was only 101mph.
Getting the power down on the red one is the issue thats limiting my times.

Nice work on the work bench - always a handy item in my garage.

Don't worry on the pics front - you know me!

Ah, getting power down makes sense - don't get me wrong still an impressive time and an awesome lude. 8)
