i hate to say it matey but its a little high with or without an mot especially if it has issues. i would love it to be higher but Ludes are not fetching decent money at the moment.
Mint ludes are going between 1000 and 1500 if your extremely lucky.

Break it. Stainless steel exhaust, VTEC controller plus engine should get you around £400-500. No one will buy the car whole at this time. IMO.

You'll probably get up to £150 for scrapping it as well.

Remove and sell the stainless exhaust (£50-£100 if it's non-branded) and the vtec controller (£50 on average depending on the make), Offer the engine for £100-£150 providing the buyer has the means to remove it themselves, and then scrap the rest for £100-£150.

That's £300-£450 depending on brands/quality.
