alternator relocation bracket - which belt?

what belt am i needing? wanna fit my relocation bracket and remove my aircon this weekend

You're going to have to measure it dude. You're running different size pulleys now as well aren't you, so that'll make it different again.

the alternator pulley is the same size just lightened, proper noobish but what do i do? just get everything fitted up then measure it with some string then go to halfords or something and say i want one this big please?

Alt relocation bracket?
I have the belt required to delete air con if you need it. Brand new gates belt. Didnt think the alt needed relocating.

yeah it moves the alternator to where the ac pump lives, going to help with space for putting a decent filter on my turbo

Yip piece of string and loop it round all the pulleys in the right positions

measure it eg 835mm and count the ribs in the belt eg 3 and ask for a 835pk3 belt. Simple as that.

Yes mate, set it up and then wrap some thing around the pulleys to take the measurement. A piece of string will fall within the teeth though, so would take an undersized measurement. So either take that into account and add a bit on, or use something wider, like a fabric tape measure. Remember there's adjustment in the bracket as well, so take the measurement slightly under halfway, so you can then tension it up without any issues.

Dont use string. I did that on my AC dlete charger and it was miles out.
Use a ratchet strap.
