Right ive just been through this section and have noticed that there isnt one topic stating our H series setups.
Now i know that theres alot of you that are pushing good bhp and all that, and instead of members on here asking 'what a good h series setup' i think there should be a topic of everyone stating what they are running just so other members on there have an idea on what they can do to get similar gains.

Know i would start with mine but cant atm has engine is on hold till after christmas as car will be going in paint shop to be sprayed in either candy apple red or java green. Lol

Lets see what you got whether its N/A, turbo or supercharged.

Mines pretty straight forward;

Type s intake
62mm ATR throttle body
ATR intake manifold
ATR injectors, fuel rail and customs fuel line
Fully stripped, skimmed and rebuild ATR head with ATR cams, valves etc.
Mugen exhaust manifold and downpipe
Greddy EVO2 cat back and tuned with a de-cat
Hondata S300 and P28 ECU
Standard h22a5 bottom end

All build work was done at performance autoworks

And the results;

Since the build I've put a CDA intake on and made a cold air feed, put a LSD box and light weight flywheel on but don't have any further results

Interesting to see the difference in the torque curves between the two motors benny! The spread is completely different! All that from 10:1 vs 11:1 compression

I'll post my ex-engine that i just broke for parts and sold :)

H22A2 stock bottom (after head modifications the CR was around 10,5:1)
H22A7 head fully ported in/ex + polished combustion chambers, matched with manifolds,
Supertech valve seals, OEM head gasket
NGK wires and spark plugs
Eliminated balance shafts
H23 manual tensioner conversion
Custom intake manifold, H22A JDM throttle body, silicone 3mm intake manifold gasket
390CC mitsubishi injectors
DC Sports DAC short ram intake with DC filter
Custom exhaust manifold
Custom exhaust 2.5"
U2Q7 gearbox, 4kg lightened flywheel
P28 Crome Tuned


Here's the dyno BEFORE the injectors, after injectors i assume sth around 240hp/240Nm, but never had chance to check it :)

Calculating Nm for lbs/ft the torque would be around 176-177lbs/ft
