Yeah I guess, cheers. LSD would be nice though but I guess that'll just have to go on my future mods list along with everything else (not that I need it cos I never even noticed it didn't have it) :)

All is well then ;) It's only on the edge you'll feel the difference, are you there often?

Not really. Only got a 4 mile commute on 30 mph roads and I've never been on track, so it's only every now & then when I'm feeling daft on a motorway or dual carriageway. Cheers again, saved me £300 ;)

Haha not unless he said to tie it on with an elastic band and forget about it for a few months :?

Is he guilty of doing something similarly silly?

Bleed the clutch line once you have topped it up. The bleed nipple is on the slave cylinder on the front of the gearbox. As said get a load of new brake fluid in there.

Yeah, started the day thinking I needed a new clutch and/or gearbox - ended it not needing either so I'm essentially £500+ up :D

I think I'll get these things done that I've been putting off:
  • Tracking (getting done tomorrow - it is long overdue)
New discs and pads up front (starting to judder a bit and I have no idea how old they are)
MTF (Pushki made me realise this is probably due a change)
Obviously that doesn't add up to £500 but I don't think the above logic will be convincing enough to the missus
