Why is my lude so slow

It will normally come on if you go over 3.5K rev's and as said puts you into limp modeMerlin wrote:I get this with my 4th gen as well (knock seonsor CEL). Dodgy dizzy will also give you strange results, mine caused random hesitation and loss of power

It was tested as a 94 so that with the cat.
I haven't touched it yet, may have time tomorrow but taking a type s onto the rolling road.
I never really drove this engine I fitted but I did test the gearbox with wheels off the ground. Lets just say it would hit 150 in seconds, and now it'll barely free rev to 4k so it's gotta be the exhaust!!!!
