Mine was the original timing belt from Japan (blue writing rather than red) so it lasted 17 years or 83,000km (ish) but Richy said it was looking very tired and was a good job it was getting changed. Personally I think it should be if in doubt change it!!

i would but its the cost :cry: mines also original jdm i think, brought the car with around 38000 on the clock so would assume it is

Look up Blackpool Honda on Ebay - they dont have any more belts but might put some up at some point in the future so you can always keep an eye on what theyre listing.
My belt looks ok but its over 10 years and 70,000miles so guess my crank pulley coming loose was a warning - and im not going to ignore it - i had planned to do this summer.....

Nathan your nearly right - part is not used but packet has been opened-will inspect it carefully once it arrives
