tbh you might just need to take it out for a run to sort the hunting idle - i have had a mild case of this once or twice when changing coolant and thats after resetting and cleaning the fitv sometime previous. I found it cleared after up a few miles of driving. My thinking was it might be that the coolant hadnt completely made its way to the iacv or fitv :? anyway it worked for me ;)

run out did no good except make the car filthy

clean now though, and I cleaned the IACV as well - still no different. next on the cards is to re-do the coolant.

seems to hunt when warm, but idles far too high straight away. its now getting worse with the colder weather, was hunting to 3.5k in a queue in other day, sounded like it was bouncing off the launch control every 2/3 seconds  looked like a right tit (nothing new there).

the Hondata says its programmed for about 1.5k on cold and around 0.8 on warm, but changing that has no affect - checked the throttle cable as well and that seems set up ok, not set too tight or too high.

going to swap the tb for a spare and finally re-do the coolant tonight hopefully.

The coolant temp sensor. I've had two problematic ones now. One on a 4th, one on the 3rd (Both the same part for the record as well). They'll have you hunting high and low (Any Aha fans out there?!) if they're troublesome.
