The price of a A7 is more then the A8. Just buy two 5bhp stickers and a A8 engine

Yes, anyone wanting more than 240ish is going to be using stage 2 Pro or higher.

I've got 11.5:1 mahle gold series Pistons, ATR inlet mani and prelude type s cams with built valve train and obviously I/H/E tuned on hondata but the bottom end started knocking after tuning so is waiting to be fixed atm. But was good fun while it lasted

I can imagine somewhere in the 240 range, never had the chance to put it on a dyno.

Cheapest way to do it is to just get an a7/a8 lump in good order (preferably serviced), a reputable full exhaust system (Mugen/Fujitsubo/PLM etc). A proven good intake and then have it all mapped on Hondata S300. Should be looking at around 240bhp and 170lbft.

As soon as you start looking for over 250bhp that's when the big money is going to be in demand. I'm looking for near 290/300bhp and I'm 12k in, and we all know the current status of my build ;)
