Would ATR components be better than S2 then? And why?

Fair enough. And a fair bit cheaper as well I imagine. What bore is the TB though? I think 68mm would be ideal?

If you get a virgin ATR manifold you need a host of bits done to it. Mods done to make it fit a P13 head, IACV adapters, EGR blanking plates, a fuel rail adapter, port matching for a larger TB (ATR TB's are 62mm standard). 68mm TB's are about the limit you can go with an ATR IM, Rosko Racing say port matching anything larger can result in breaking through to the IACV.
While the ATR IM is cheaper to buy than the Skunk2 you have to do some work to it so the economics of both are about the same.
The setup I bought off Dino (originally Taffylude's build) has SK2 68mm TB, ATR IM, Stage 2 Pro SK2 cams and their associated parts.

And that was a good setup?
Think that's what I'll be going for if so..apart from I'll get the S2 IM cos it's easier.

With 11.5 comp pistons and associated bits it made 277bhp & 188lb/ft on it's last dyno by Dino.CrunchyAdams82 wrote:And that was a good setup?
The only issue is that once you start upgrading one part you realise you need to upgrade other parts to make your initial mod worthwhile. You quickly end up down the rabbit hole and end up with a car that doesn't resemble what you started with

It will be my daily initially yes, once I get the standard 2.2 in there. But once I start work on the project engine, it will have to become a track/drag/leisure car once that's fitted.
Aiming for 350/400bhp ultimately.
