High comp stuffs
Ok,
Ive been looking at high comp stuff......
Found some nice 12.0:1 pistons.
I know that is VERY high comp, but would i need my car mapping if i was to get pistons that aggressive?

To use them properly you would need to spend many £xxxx to get the additional parts to back them up, and probably the same in labour to get it running right. Also one of the only non-OEM pistons you can use off the bat are Mahle Gold Series, due to the H22's FRM (fiber reinforced metal) cylinder lining.

Re: High comp stuffs
as Merlin has said you will need to sleeve your block if they aren't the Mahle gold pistons. I've read quite a few bad things about the Mahle gold pistons though, they dont seem to last.
