Removal of Exhaust heat shield?
Hi, I'm wanting to remove my exhaust heat shield from under my car, the reason is.. i keep catching it so it then goes and says hello to the exhaust!!! the rattle is like women moan over and over and over!!!
so a few questions... Can i remove them without taking the exhaust off its hangers? ill be doing this at home and the car is slammed so its not gonna be fun!! and also i know by taking these away it will make the car hotter on the inside.. but is that the only reason why we got them? think i'm gonna do it anyway but thought i better ask before doing it

Make sure you stick the bolts back in the holes though

Nothing massively technical, just you'll end up with open threaded holes in the bottom of your car, sticking the bolts back just keeps the cruft out.grant_day wrote:Which would this be needed? ... Just curious.indigolemon wrote:Make sure you stick the bolts back in the holes though

one day puski your going to remove something from your car by mistake, take it for a drive and realize it has made it faster, more efficient and just better in every way and you'll have the bug! next thing we'll know your car will be a stripped out complete track ready whore of a lude and you'll be +1 cooler!
