Our friendly neighbourhood duck..
Donald wrote:What gets me is people that sell wheels advertised with tyres but the tyres are absolute jobby. As in zero tread, perished etc. What good are they to anyone. "Wheels with tyres but tyres need changing" cheers for being too cheap to have them removed.

 Why should I pay someone to remove them at £5 a pop, when the new owner is likely to pay a set amount to have new tyres fitted whether they currently have tyres fitted or not? They'd likely save on courier charges, but then I'd likely add the removal fee to my asking price ;-)

Plus I bought my Grenades for the project lude and am glad they had knackered bold tyres on. It meant I wasn't paying for the tyres which is good as it's just sat on them going no where.

That's going back some  and not quite relevant to this.

Nafe has very sensibly just advertised the wheels, which come with jobby tyres, rather than advertising a set of wheels with jobby tyres. ;)

Yeah, it popped up yesterday when Farlow mentioned a similar topic...

Then I saw this post...

But yeah after re-reading, I get ya, Don Juan, your issue was people selling them as if the tyres were a good part of the deal - not just saying there are jobby tyres on these hoops.
