Thats not cool, at all i'm all for letting people know if theres a rouge about, hence my post, If he thinks he can just walk away from this he's very much mistaken, its not a huge amount of money tbh, its the principle that got my back up and i don't like being lied to

Anyhoo, i can hear dinner and a beer caling me.... :D

Had one buy from him. I bough side mirrors, but one came up damaged, corner was snapped. Send him pm with photo. Well courier brake it , but it wasn't been packed well. I didn't blamed him to much but as a gentelmen he could refund some of money for that. But only one answer was you can use your parts ro replace it or buy another. Will not tryed contact him any more as it would be pointless anyway.

You can think what you want, im not saiyng he is a bad person , but here is my short story.

Bought from him before...no issues whatsoever. Latest purchase (I'm the other member) and I'm not best pleased. He's ignored numerous pm's from me and my posts on his thread. Slightly bigger item too (gearbox). Fortunately I paid by PayPal goods so I'm now applying for a refund through PayPal.

I have spoken to the gentleman in question off forum about a non car related topic in some depth. We passed a subject back and forth, learning about each others approach to life and existence.

I can tell you he is an intelligent bloke with a grammar education and the ability to communicate on an adult level. Also a man of very strongly held beliefs. One might almost say mildly extreme but thats just my opinion.

If you have not heard from him its probably because you are not going to....

I would like to add Je suis Charlie as a clear message if he happens to come onto the board. Justification for bad behaviour cannot be found in a book. No matter how many times you read it. No matter who you say its written by.

He is far from being rapid in despatching the parts, but I have always received what I asked for. He helped me out several times.

I have met the guy at a meet in Scotland. He seemed like a real nice guy. I have bought several things from him with mixed results. Some things have come straight away and others I have had to really pester him about. In fairness I always got the item from him apart from one time where a refund was offered.
It seems to me he can disappear for a while and is either forgetful or badly organised rather than a malicious seller. Still, I guess it was only a matter of time for a thread like this to appear.
