Brand New Lenso RS5 alloys for sale

Post by W1ggz » Thu Oct 04, 2012 11:07 am

A customer of mine just came into work and asked me if i knew anyone that would be interested in his set of wheels he has bought. They were to go on his lexus is200 but has been told he needs spacers and doesnt want to muck about with the setup of the car. he is in his late 50's and isnt your normal kind of modder. he paid £800 for these wheels they have brand new 225/45/17 budget's on and are a multifit 5x100 5x114.
sorry theres no can of beans or my name in the pic but he just popped in.
his name is rob and he lives in shirehampton bristol his number is 07771589538
He is looking for £450 for them if they were 4 stud i would of had them

You sure he's not looking for £800 for them?

Will running spacers actually throw anything out? Surely the whole point of running spacers is to achieve the correct offset. If he spends £150 or so on decent hubcentric spacers at least he won't just be throwing away £350 (And I assume he'll probably end up spending decent money on yet another set of wheels again?)

Yeah, sounds like he doesn't realise that the spacers will just cure the issue  Oh well :)

I tried lude alloys on the lexus IS200 before

it needs spacers to clear the cailper, I only had cheap 5mm spacers but alot of vibration was going on

No - I'm quite happy thanks, and busy too. Kind of you to ask.

Tempted, but budgets are putting me off and i don't fancy paying out for a set four tyres on top.

Either this or a new stereo...
