Incredibly thick people on ebay !!!

Post by NafemanNathan » Sun Jan 11, 2015 10:39 pm

Why are there so many thick people that ruin potential bargains for other people?! They literally pay over the odds to make sure of it! :x :tosser:

For example I've been watching engine stands for a while now. I'm after a black one... just because I don't want red. They're only £4 more expensive (Buy It Now) than the cheapest red one of the same standard, but I'm not in a rush just yet, so I thought I'd wait until I can win a black one at auction for the same if not a cheaper price.

This is the one I'm wanting, and this is the Buy It Now price listing... £39.99 FREE Postage. There is constantly a Buy It Now listing at this price from these guys by the way.

Yet here, from the same seller is the exact same stand, but an Auction listing that of course ran at the same time as their Buy It Now listing. It went for... £35.99 + £4.99 Postage (£40.98 Total)! :|

And here is another Auction Listing of theirs that finished today. This one went for an amazing £38.99 + £4.99 Postage (£43.98 Total)!!! :?

I know the difference isn't going to break the bank, but why would you "choose" to pay a seller more for the exact same thing. You have to be seriously thick to not know how to search and filter on ebay

And this one really takes the biscuit! Again, it's the exact same stand, but this time it's used! ... £56.99 Delivered.

Anyway, this isn't the first time I've witnessed this stupidity on ebay, but it really pees me off! So I just needed to vent  :suicide:

EDIT: Yet again another tool bag wins again! :tosser:  ...

£36.35 + £4.99 Postage (£41.34 Total)!

Well if I end up getting one and you're in the area at any point, maybe you could strap the a7 to the roof of your car and bring over, just so it's out the way and you no longer have to look at 17 engine ;-)

As a seller it pays to offer rope to suicides.

I bet that works out to be very effective from their point of view.
