In all honesty I see this as a girlfriend friendly mod, I don't think I could get away with adjusting the damping any harder as the gf will go nuts - the calmer I can keep her the better :) I'm probably going to be in trouble as it is as I don't think she really understands what the 'benefit' is of adding a supercharger so I am looking forward to her reaction when I mash the throttle for the first time hahaha! Anyway, I could have a soft mode for when we're of out and about & some firmer settings for some b-road blasting.
If only all cars had a "GFF" and a "How I like it" button

they do, it's called

''SHUT THE drokk UP HUNNY, I am busy right now.''

Does the edfc system cycle the screw top all the way to the one side and back again then to your desired setting? I always understood to equalise the pressure correctly you needed to roll it all the way open (or closed, I cant remember now) before you set it. Like it needs a reset to be set correctly.

I found the best setting for fast road and have left it at that. I would like one but its not enough of a want.

Generally it's just the port hole size or number of port holes that increases/decreases to let the fluid through at a different rate, so shouldn't make any odds as to whether or not it's cycled all the way back/forth or not. It's mechanical at the end of the day. If it was electrical, then possibly there would be such a calibration technique. (Or it'd be the same difference between 3rd gen 4WS never going wrong and 4th and 5th gen 4WS needing an ECU reset when it goes tits up  )

If someone wants to make me an offer I have two of the Tein EDFC motors in my possession, no controller though but can't be rocket science to get something to work.

PM me if your interested, don't want alot for them.

be sure you own the correct tein ss for the lude as when I called them for fitment they told me the ones I have (the same ones most people seem to have) will not work with them.. The much much newer ones are the ones that fit.

Just something you might want to think about before buying.

if it has a small knob that rises up an inch or so on a spindle the same diameter as the spindle its on with a little allen hole in the top? no go. thats what I have and they wont work. I never saw the other type but you need something to attach the motors to as well as fit them and these older style dont work.
