Penetrating grease for OEM bushes

Ah, that does make sense. So that's another job for the summer

A few bushes need replacing as it is, the upper control arm bushes are worn and I think that's due to the broken ARB droplink on the same side which is now repaired. I'll need to get a garage to give the car a once over, we don't have MOTs over here so some problems are never spotted

I do have a pot in the master kit, though didn't think it was that big. I wasn't going to touch that until fitting the kit to my project lude. What I'm looking for now would be for the newly acquired lude.

Yeah it was at you. There is tonnes more grease in that pot than you will need IMO. Some of the bags of bushes have their own little bags of grease as well.

Use Nitin grease. It will then be Nitin Impregnated

Problem is it'll all spill out if you drive past an NSX or a Prelude with rare bits.

I don't want to have to constantly replace it due to it spilling out prematurely as well.

i used all of the original stuff. its horrid. the other stuff i found was not so bad.

i used this:

it seems to do the job. one pot did the whole car.

i stripped off all the components. cleaned them of all the old original (and quite dirty considering the few miles covered) ES sticky sticky and made sure everything was nicely coated in this before putting it all back on the car.

only a few hundred yards so far but no squeaks

@nafe: those are some pretty bad errors. i will leave them as a warning to others who post first thing and before a coffee.
