Have you got new ball joints Nick? The ball joint itself could be warn if yo're still getting knocking noises. It's not your CV joint is it? (You mentioned it's only on full lock).

Just fitted to the front - new lower control arm , lower ball joint(split the cv boot&need to replace once i know size to get), wishbones and offside refurbed driveshaft - hope its not the Cv joint as this was the only part not replaced on the driveshaft :roll: The noise is a slight chatter at full lock and generally most noticeable when pulling out a parking space. I also fitted refurbed calipers pads and discs and im just wondering if its the brake pads catching slightly as i didnt refit the anti-squeal shims and they now squeak a bit.
Maybe if i hadnt fitted so many new parts in one go it would be easier to trace.
Dont get me wrong its not that bad but i just want it to be perfect.
Will have a look this coming weekend and see whats what.

Noooooooooooooooo :oops: it took me ages to rebuild the driveshaft-maybe its just wear in the inner cv joint itself-ive still got the original one off the lude so will clean that up and see how it compares.Felt solid when i fitted it. Then again i may just ignore it for the time being and see if it goes away when i get the alignment done.

you were right Nathan - outer cv joint - the only bit i didnt touch as it felt tight so thought id chance it - anyway its not too bad and only seems to make itself known at coasting speed on full lock - no sound from it when under load.
