Very very very long lorry

Trying to negotiate a roundabout right outside my office. At one point, he was totally wedged and the trailer was a foot away from the building!

Blimey!

Assuming that's a roundabout and he would have been in the left hand lane approaching it, could he not have stayed in the left hand lane whilst turning right and cut the whole lot. Looks like that way would have been easier to negotiate and still avoid the bollards.

Believe it or not, those images show him finally heading back the way he came. Initially he came towards the building we're in and tried to turn right (3rd exit for him), got most of the way round then totally wedged. After some to and fro he managed to reverse it down what would have been his first exit, and the pics show him managing to get it going back the way it came.

Still can't figure out what the thing on the trailer actually is.

Looks like it should be vertical and maybe cradles something? Maybe a deep core drill for an oil rig or something?

I'd have though something like that would have had a police escort?
