Rear wheel drive Prelude

Post by Ammo » Tue Feb 12, 2013 11:20 am

Found this on Driftworks

http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-c ... volts.html

Seems an odd choice of parts for the conversion, the Nissan 200sx rear end is a much closer match to the Ludes track width, and an electric motor that is different

Actually just done some googling looks like the RX8 is nearly the same at the Ludes track width

Prelude Rear track width = 59.6 Inches / 1513.84mm
RX8 Rear track width = 59.5 Inches / 1511.3mm

Ammo try and get him on here. Going by his words, sounds like he'd fit right in ;-)

I think it's to stop space framed cars, which have no crumple zones, as drifting in a pretty much a contact sport
