ok i found a vin plate converter/decoder online. but my vin code on both my log book and on the fire wall isnt a vin number, they should be 17 charictors long but mine is just bb4 then some numbers. do jdm cars have a vin? will there be one on the engine

A call to Honda may offer something additional about the car, as far as I can see there is no other way of finding any info.

suprised nobody thought it was about wine :D even my bb4 number doesnt really tell me anything, its less than a thousand so must be a real early one (this i was told by the seller, though i didnt really care at the time, it was just a car).
