Most pumps have a perfectly flat bit on them! Saying that, the holder idea is a nice one :D

I have forgotten it on the bootlid once and drive off  (the petrol station was closed, so I opened the cap, went to fill, didn't work, so went to the entrance, closed, went back to car, drove off). Realised right after leaving so I turned around frantically to try and find it. Got to a small intersection nearby, noticed it lying in the road. A car came round the corner and JUST missed it. I always double check now.

Why not attach a chain to the cap and the interior of the flap?

Pain in the ass undoing it/doing it up? And it could easily swing and hit the paint work :?

This also annoys me. Both my aerodecks have/had the cap holder, but my lude doesn't!
