well ive had one quote from a bodyshop that has done work on other ludes and it was a bit more than i was hoping for - been to another one today and will see what they say. both have said that its windscreen out to fix the dented roof :x
i was looking for the rear quarters of the car to be painted and the arches fixed but its not looking promising
might have to come up with some other options such as wrap or plastidip :?

That sucks man. I still think black would look good, and some cunning use of filler would hide the dents and could be wrapped over?

yeah i got my hopes up and then got the quotes :(
one of the problems of owning a 20 years old milano red lude

probably a wrap for the roof is a good idea - then ive got the arches to do again and thats before painting the rear quarters, bootlid and bumper.

at this stage plastidip looks attractive at £399 for a whole car single or two tone

Someone only said the other day on here that Plastidip is only good for about 9 months or something though. Don't quote me on that, but it certainly wasn't a long time.

I think @bb1boy knew about it.

EDIT: Here it is...

You'd definitely be better off with wrapping.

Indeed, it should last 9 months quite comfortably, but then it starts to wear and peel and look scruffy.. still, you could do a 6 monthly application to make sure it's always fresh ;)

...for a roof, I'd go vinyl, its a nice (almost) flat square panel - a wrapper's delight ...see what I did there?
