Very nice Shiny. Loving the effect on the spark plug cover & strut bar. How did you achieve that?

That's the kind of thing I'm thinking for my valve cover. 8-)

And yeah, Shiny's design with the Cassis Red (or similar) & black to match my paintwork. :)

Think my paintwork is actually Peugeot Diablo Red. Like so..

Firstly, how do you get that kind of effect on image 1?

I highly doubt that's paint mate. It'll be chrome plated.

I bought the strut brace like that, it had been anodised with an electric current to make the effect apparently.

For the other bits, i sprayed them black then flicked red and black paint with a stick (i used engine paint, thinned slightly to get the right effect). Then applied a top coat of lacquer.
