Post by Merlin » Tue Mar 20, 2012 1:04 pm

Are you able to buy a fuel filler cap holder for the 4th gen? I have one for my 5G and it annoys me I dont have one for the 4G.

Like this:

Any 5th genners seeing this and want a holder the Honda part number is: 74423-SZ3-003 and cost £5.69 (when I bought my one) from a Honda dealer.

I find most garages supply them for me... They called fuel pumps ;-)

No but really, on a serious note!... Does the inside of the fuel flap have a prevision for one? (I can't be assed to go look right now?)

How about Honda part number 74423-SP0-000? It can simply be modified to fit... Assuming the cap has the same threads as the 4th gen lude's.

EDIT: Although this place lists them as a direct fit :|

It might have been a US thing on the 4th gen.
I had a cf flap that had on but I ordered that from the states.
The 3 or 4 UK & JDM flaps I have seen did not have the holder built in.

No worries bud. Lings lists them, but I can't track it down to any UKDM models. But then at that price it might be worth the gamble to buy new anyway ;-) ...
