if youre at the very top end i agree, for most of us the money can be spent else where IMO. its some thing i have had long talks with my mate who's heavy into his carbon manufacturing, we just need the space for moulds, infact if we had moulds...............

Thats the thing.. Me, another guy and Nathan basicly payed for the moulds ...
But still happy with them. Want to lose every kg I can!

I put my origional mirrors back on but they are heavy.
Have the F1 style race mirrors but want to know how to use the track first . Didn't see a thing behind me..

Someone on here did a write up on how to gut the OEM mirror housing and make them much lighter. I cant remember who though.

I wanted too but its hard if you want to keep the adjustebility.

Also the cast bracket underneath all the plastic that bolts to the door and holds the actual mirror is a fair old lump. I've currently removed a pair to have them machined back to fit some different mirrors. Not much you can remove from them if you want to keep the OEM look though.

unless you remake the metal bracket in plastic?

Yes they're hyabusa mirrors, you just need to make a plate to carry them.

And easier said than done anyway, unless you have access to a 3D printer (the non-brittle, non-prototype, expensive type) and still that would probably vibrate too much.
