Screwfix equivalent to Tiger Seal?...

Post by NafemanNathan » Fri Jun 19, 2015 8:57 pm

I could do with some Tiger Seal for this weekend, but didn't plan ahead too well. Screwfix has a huge choice, so they must do an equivalent, but does anybody have any experience and which one?...

Or from Toolstation for that matter...

Ive used dow corning sealant in place of tigerseal. The dow corning stuff is used for bonding in windscreens so should be as good as tiger seal if not better depending ont he application. Sikaflex is also another good tigerseal equivalent.

Ive used most of the caulks, sealants and adhesives that screwfix and toolstation supply but that was for buidling rennovation and maintenenace ;)

I always use the stixall and it's bloody good stuff, dries fast and even underwater. Just don't use the clear! Not sure why but it doesn't seem to set anywhere as good as the white or black.
