Body work for our Honda Logo
Thinking of doing some body work to this little bad boy so that we can keep it for a bit longer and it passes the next MOT too. I got it nearly a year ago and it's been fantastic, small but nippy little car and no ATTS/4WS to go wrong with.
- Both rear arches have got surface rust and near the sills too.
- Side skirts have been fitted with double sided tape and not done properly.
- Scuff/scratches around the bumpers.
- I will get a rear boot spoiler so that needs painting and fitting.
Just need a rough price guide on how much it will cost so that I don't completely ripped off buy the body shop guy. My old body shop guy moved away so I will have to search for some new people (let me know if there are any good ones around London area). Would it be just cheaper just to get the whole car re-sprayed?

Wow that's very cheap. Where in the country are you?Slosh2222 wrote:A external respray by my body shop would cost between £1000 to £1500 ,
I resprayed my car and the amount of time I spent on it and materials it would cost my business £2.5k.
£800-900 Nitin in Notts. London prices around £1200 for the repair. Not a full respray. Obviously it can be done cheaper.

I'm in Somerset , and that was a rough price for for just a solid 2k colour as I only glanced at nitins but as it's base and clear it might bit a bit more , and when I painted my car I paid £320 for paint and materials , but like we both know its the time and prep that cost the money a lot of people think it's just a case of a quick rub down and a blow overRattyMcClelland wrote:Wow that's very cheap.
