I have heard (a long time ago) that rather than opening the lights up to remove the amber lense you can literally just shatter it and shake out all the pieces.

If i can get some leds at a decent price they might look better - Indigolemon is on the case :D
As there is no diffuser in the lower part of the lights it doesnt illuminate as bright as i would like led lights might fix this
