It's a bitter sweet tale of companies that make quality components sadly

Any update whether this happened or what the next delayed excuse is from them?

Still very much appreciating your efforts on this. Love the mounts. Damn IM!

Sorry I've hardly been on here lately guys, It will change once January is over and we've got the site finished, and things in order.

I've found out some more info from speaking to a few other guys in the USA who also have these troubles with them.

These bars are very popular, They only make them in batches of 1 or 2 bars. In which there is a high demand.

So Our order which needs 4 bars, they dont give us the first 4 that are made, They give us 1 from each "batch" to try and keep everyone happy, even people who ordered after us! :o

So it takes 4 batches for our order to be complete.

I've got 3 bars now sitting in our shipping warehouse, Which I'm going to ship over now rather as wait on the last bar being made and joining the rest.

I'll update in a day or so once I've got a date on when these will be over here.

So . . . . We need to decide who will get these 3 and who will wait on the last one. If needed, I can draw names at random.

Thanks for you patience everyone :ugeek: , I understand this is taking ages.

4 bars, 4 surnames. Alphabetically ordered and numbered 1-4.

I don't like the look of number 1, it's a lazy number to write, far too often looking like an l or an i. So 2, 3, 4 get bars. Problem solved. ;)

In all seriousness though, seems to me like they've got their heads up their arses. If they are in such high demand, why make batches of just 2 at a time... and first come, first serve should be the rule with such things. If I went and ordered 4 now, potentially I could get 1 made for my order before you get the final bar for yours. Silly. :|

Absolutely ridiculous policy!

As long as we're getting there is the main thing.

And no need to draw names from a hat, and as well considered as your process was Donald, I'll have the last bar ;-)

Will be getting timescales once I get them to my shipping warehouse,

But yes, It is a totally stupid and unfair way to do things. I thought they were just fobbing us off to begin with, but speaking to another company over there, they confirmed it and gave me this info.

He's once of their biggest customers (A warehouse distributor) and they treat him the same when he orders bars.

I imagine that they are labour intensive to make compared to the mounts, as if we order custom coloured mounts they get made in 4-7 days.

There's not that many components to it, and if they had any sense they'd have a jig for setting it up, so there's no real excuses. They're just lazy and arrogant by the sounds of it
