Re: Nathan's BA4 3rd Gen
The guy sorting the bodywork is taking whatever custom backboxes I have as part payment for the work he does, so it made financial sense to stick that new one on as wellhonda-hardy wrote:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Universal-E ... 3a73777e07
Should have got one of these.

Well I dropped her off today and removed the bumpers for the guy. This is how I left her...

... But hopefully in 2-3 weeks she shall look a tad more revitilised

1st Restoration Pics
Well I've had the first teaser pictures through already. Mike (My body guy
) will be putting a profile of my car up on his website at the weekend, but in the meantime has sent me these few pics
Firstly the nasty surprises...
Loads of filler on the driver's rear arch...

The rust around the rear window. Turns out the window trim had been bonded in place with extreme amounts of silicone, which had caused water traps, hence the rust...

Patched the hole that had remained after I had a guy patch the sill for the MOT
...

Turns out a Mk1 Mr2 front arch is a perfect match for a 3rd gen Prelude rear arch. Who knew?!

I rang Honda today and I'm able to get new clips for the rear window trim, so I'm glad to say it will be going back on as it should
And I have to say Mike is fast too! He only started it this week and he's hoping to have it fully prep'd for painting for Monday!
