headlight adustment 4g

Post by Dino » Fri Feb 24, 2012 12:09 pm

Car just failed mot as near side headlight was too low.
Mechanic tried adjusting it with the adjuster on top and back of headlight but no success.
Is there any way i can raise it? was thinking washers underneath where the head light meets the crash bar behind the bumper.
Cheers.

Is the adjuster goosed? I had one that was stuck before, if you remove the bulb you can get your finger in there (oo er) and encourage it as the adjuster is turned.

I'd try what Lemon suggested. Fingers in the bulb holes to help persuade them whilst you try turning the adjuster. Mechanic should of thought of that really.

... And for the record, is this a first ever lude related question from Marc Dino?! :o
