5 Bolt Hub Conversion Trial Fit

Post by NafemanNathan » Fri Jul 12, 2013 11:11 pm

Got around to trial fitting the 5 bolt hub conversion today. I figured I'm going to hopefully need to move the car soon and being the only set of 4x114.3 rims I have now are fitted to the silver 4th gen I needed to fit the Grenades. It also frees up a load of space inside the house as well as I'll no longer have a massive stack of wheels or a massive heavy box of hub parts :)

I finished up late as usual, so as usual the pics aren't all that, but I'll get some again in the morning once I've jacked the LCA's up to see what they look like and how much arch I'll need to remove...

Nice work bud. They've got some poke don't they? Def need some arch extensions. Love the wheels though, you keeping them white?

There's no spacer in there at the moment, but I'll put them in once I've taken it all apart again, powder-coated everything and fitted all ball joints and bushes.

certainly looks the part now bud, love the hub conversion and the wheels.

have you decided what the final colour is going to be yet? red is the fastest, but black is the coolest.

Cheers Sam. This stage will be remaining red, but with black touches ;-)
