Pretty pissed off today as the Ebay douche nugget I ordered a convoluted bendy heater hose (£15 p/m) from sent me just a length of plain heater hose. The stuff you can get for a couple of quid a meter from your local motor factor. While not essential for installing the engine tomorrow it would have been nice to get it in and not struggle once the engine is in

But something did come that I have been waiting for, MFactory oil sump and gearbox magnetic bolts. The thought of all that new metal in the gearbox touching each other for the first time :scaredtoss:

I hope your magentic sump bolts are better quality than the one I had on my Pulsar. Torqued that f*cker up to spec and ripped the head straight off leaving the thread in the sump

Lucky for me it was hollow so I could get a screw driver in to get it out. Took a few days for Nissan to get a sump plug though :(

You gonna rub back the H22A plaque?

Looks very...

As it in rub it back to get the roughness off it then paint it again? I wasnt planning on it as it is decent enough as it is. It will never be perfect as the finish on the block itself is not perfect.

No I meant the small square section of the H22A stamp bit, most people paint the block then sand that bit back and polish it up. Imagine flatting back an engine with all it's shapes and crevices!
