Re: Merlin's 4G Track Lude - Engine in
Tein Basic's are only height adjustable. Spring rates are Front 9kg / Rear 6kg which is enough for now and good in the wet. With the polybushing the suspension is rock hard, I hate driving it on the road.vtectom wrote:Have you decided on spring rates yet?

Oil and water
A small update on what has been going on. I have been collecting the last few bits I have needed to finish it, however these are fiddily bits that is easy to buy in the wrong size, which I have done a few times
A few pics before a bigger update this weekend:
OEM heater hose (16mm) coupled to a convoluted heater hose (19mm)

The OEM hose allowed it to be routed around the block so it gets behind the intake manifold. The convoluted heater hose allows a tight angle to the firewall where I have a T7Design bulkhead fitting to take it into the cabin.

The Mocal 16 row oil cooler that is mounted vertically using Mocal oil cooler bushings

The brackets we welded to support the oil cooler

The oil cooler is plumbed in and I will get some better pics of it tomorrow/the weekend.

Re: Merlin's 4G Track Lude - Engine in
I might be able to start her up on Saturday
I don't have a Shell garage near me which is a problem as she wants VPower, but I have bought a couple of jerry cans to solve that problem
I thought I had bought everything but only remembered this morning that I need a new battery
