short shifters

I've never had one (only a proper short-shifter), but apparently they're clunky and notchy... Not smooth shifting at all.

I had one of these fitted for a while, it did make the box a bit notchy,especially 1st gear when cold. Was better as everything warmed up tho.
I still have it, and was going to offer it for sale. But probably not much point now

well if its going cheap enough i will give it a go. is it easy enough to install and remove?

Yea, its pretty straight forward to fit. It's exactly the same as the one in the link at start of this thread,in fact that could be where i got it originally. Was going to ask about £8 posted. Can get you some photo's if you want.

I've got them fitted to my 4th and my mates 5th, I thought for the price it was a great bit of kit and well worth the price.

If your still have all the gear surround then it may foul and require a little cutting in 3rd gear iirc!

Yeah i'll take it for £8 mate, worth a go! can someone post up some fitting instructions? mabye even a pic of it installed? i dont even know where it goes...
